There are two ways to make a reservation: online or over the phone. A credit card is required to make a reservation. We can waive this requirement only for pickups from the Outer Banks. Online reservations are subject to 24-hour notice. Do not use online reservation form for the same day or next day reservation request. The reservation is complete once we confirm it over the phone or via e-mail.
CHANGES TO RESERVATIONS
Any change to an existing reservation can be made by calling our office at 252-599-7777. We will do our best to accommodate your request. If we are unable to accommodate your request due to availability, you can keep the original reservation or cancel the reservation.
Any airport reservation canceled within a two (2) hour period of the scheduled pick-up time will be subject to a full charge for the quoted price including Base Rate, Driver Gratuity, and any accumulated expenses. By booking a car you agree to this cancellation policy. Exceptions are only made due to extreme weather conditions resulting in flight cancellations or the inability to traverse the roads.
We constantly monitor the flight arrival information. However, we strongly recommend calling our office as soon as possible if there is a change in your flight information. Our driver with “A1 TAXI” sign will meet you at the baggage claim upon your arrival.
WAITING TIME CHARGES
There will be no charge for the first hour of waiting time, if your driver has to wait for you at the airport due to an unexpected delay. It is $20.00 per hour of waiting time afterwards. The driver will wait for as long as needed unless you decide to cancel your reservation (see cancellation policy).
NO SHOW POLICY
If you fail to show up at the scheduled pickup time and location, and there has not been any contact with A1 Taxi within an hour after landing, you will be considered a “No Show” and billed the full fee including the base rate, driver gratuity, and any accumulated expenses. If you cannot find your driver, DO NOT LEAVE! Call our office at 252-599-7777, and we will help you to locate your driver.
Our service is backed by a satisfaction guarantee. Should you be dissatisfied, please call us. We will do our best to resolve any issues to your satisfaction.
Customers will be held liable for any damage that they cause to our vehicle including, but not limited, a $100 carpet cleaning fee in some extreme cases.
A1 Taxi is not responsible for passenger expenses in the event of a mechanical failure. A1 Taxi is not responsible for items left in our vehicles. Make sure you do not leave anything behind while exiting the vehicle. All lost and found valuables will be stored in our office for up to 30 days.
WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
When you fill out our online booking form, we will gather such information as your name, phone number, and email address. If you make a reservation, we will also ask you for your credit card information to process payment. This information will not be used for any other purpose and will not be shared with anyone outside of A1 Taxi Service. We DO NOT sell, rent, or disclose any of your personal identifying information to third parties.
